Titanic - 04. But the cows are to blame
Plastic bags flying in the breeze,
Factories give us what we need.
Oil wells pumping deep in the sea,
But blame the cows, they're the enemy.
Cars are packed, bumper to bumper,
City lights grow bright and number.
Who's at fault for this heavy load?
Of course, the cows, munching by the road.
But the cows are to blame, that's what they say,
Their farts are ruining the sunny day.
Plastic mountains rise up so high,
But it's the cows making the sky cry.
Look around, the world's turning gray,
But hey, it's the cows, they paved the way!
Trash islands floating, bigger each year,
Dead fish tangled in nets, can't breathe clear.
Who's guilty of this plastic rain?
Of course, it's cows, they're insane.
Forests fall, tree by tree,
For that palm oil urgency.
But who's the culprit, who's to blame?
Must be the cows, always the same.
But the cows are to blame, that's what they say,
Their farts are ruining the sunny day.
Plastic mountains rise up so high,
But it's the cows making the sky cry.
Look around, the world's turning gray,
But hey, it's the cows, they paved the way!
While streets are filled with smoke and haze,
And oceans choke in plastic waves,
One thing's clear, we all should know,
The cows are guilty, let them go!
But the cows are to blame, that's what they say,
Their farts are ruining the sunny day.
Plastic mountains rise up so high,
But it's the cows making the sky cry.
Look around, the world's turning gray,
But hey, it's the cows, they paved the way!
But the cows are to blame, that's what they say,
Their farts are ruining the sunny day.
Plastic mountains rise up so high,
But it's the cows making the sky cry.
Look around, the world's turning gray,
But hey, it's the cows, they paved the way!
This is my way of using irony to call out the hypocrisy — we drown in plastic and pollute the earth, yet somehow it’s the cows we blame. Sometimes, laughter is the clearest form of protest.
